Are you looking for in-depth feedback on your writing?
This Fall, I’ll be running several writing workshops / feedback-intensive courses, both live in the classroom (for writers living in and around Toronto) and online (for writers living anywhere).
There is something for just about any writer, at any stage of development.
See you in September!
LIVE IN THE CLASSROOM
NEW! Novel and Short Story Writing Workshop at George Brown College
This course is a workshop-style masterclass that helps you quickly and efficiently improve and perfect your novel chapters and/or short stories through live, in-person support. Receive feedback, notes, and editorial suggestions from your classmates as well as from the teacher – an award-winning, widely published author. Discuss writing techniques and workshop within a community of writers that is facilitated by one of our professional published authors so that you can bring your work closer to the submission stage.
NEW! Fiction Writing Mentoring and Feedback at George Brown College
This course provides you with intensive expert assessments and constructive criticism (on up to 7500 words of your writing) from the teacher – an award-winning, widely published author. Submitted work can be short stories, novel chapters, or a combination of the two, and each submission receives comprehensive editorial suggestions and notes.
The Humber School for Writers Graduate Certificate Program
Through Humber’s Creative Writing Graduate Certificate Program, you’ll work one-on-one with a professional writer-mentor to improve your short stories, poems, memoir, or novel-in-progress, learning how to develop plot, character, dialogue, style and more through feedback on your own manuscript. The program is intended for those working on book-length projects, and you’ll have the satisfaction of completing a large body of work which may include all or part of a novel or memoir, a volume of short stories, or a book of poetry.
